Bistro is EXPENSIVE ($4.00 for a small pastry) NO other breakfast options nearby $6.00 dry ham sandwich, no condiments avail. $3.50 for the bottled water in the room & kids don't read the fine print! Sit down Bistro Food options or convenience store pantry options only, main restaurant advertised yet closed or unavailable. Asked specifically for another plastic liner for the ice bucket (needed to put ice in it to ice an injury) I explained this but Instead I received a plastic bag he thought was better for that purpose - one which was for the laundry service and had holes in the bottom of it! Yay a leaking ice pack and wet pajamas! Tap water tastes like chlorine pool water. Waited OVER 1/2 hour, eventually one came that was dropping guests off at the hotel but I had to flag him before he drove off, he wasn't going to pick us up either! Clearly this hotel is not a priority for the cab companies & getting to my destination timely clearly not a concern for the staff. Difficult getting cab from this hotel to any other locations in city - front desk called told me "several cabs already in the area and less than 10 minute wait".
no weight machines Room Keys quite inconveniently deactivated themselves for no apparent reason. Workout facility = cardio and dumbells only. No shuttle options from / to airport or train to this location. Lots of construction / road construction in this area, difficult confusing to get to the hotel - looks like a bunch of incomplete construction / work zones around side of hotel. Any savings received on the room were quickly eaten up by additional hotel fees, cab fares and public transportation costs. I did find the hotel to be a little expensive, maybe if the amenity fee was not tacked on it would not be as bad, but then when looking for places seems all the hotels, even AirBnB's were expensive if you wanted anything in the downtown/attraction area.įurther from Seattle Center/ downtown waterfront / Pike Street Market than I had realized. If you have a car or don't mind Uber, I recommend visiting other neighborhoods such as Ballard and Fremont, so many great restaurants and bars and not all the tourists. Popcorn and coffee in the room were nice additions.
The new bar area opened up the Saturday before we left, unfortunately we did not get to take advantage of it but it looked really nice.
Loved the coffee and cupcakes in the afternoon! The coffee/snack shop had great pick me up breakfast items as well as sandwiches and salads. Shuttle makes it really easy to visit the Aquarium, Pike Place Market, etc. Walking distance (minutes) to the Space Needle, Chihuly, MoPOP, and other attractions.

The hotel is perfectly located as it is within walking distance of everything I previously said we did ie Pike’s Place, Space Needle, and glass Museum and the kicker it has a Whole Foods Market at the base of the hotel building and the coup de gras for me humidor literally steps away from the front door, now I’m happy My recommendation is the curtains do not cover the windows fully so Sunlight does come in. Didn’t use the restaurant cause we were stuff at the nearby cafes as we explored. Lobby has nice seating area and a restaurant inside. Staff very courteous and definitely have people skill. Back to the hotel room was ready extremely clean and everything in order. So off we go walking to Pike Place Market then space needle and glass museum. Staff greeted us at the door made our way to the counter where we were told they would hold our luggage for us and would call us when the room was ready, now I’m liking this already. I first had second thoughts as we rode through downtown to get to our destination, but as we unloaded our luggage we knew we were waay too early to check-in.

Family and I flew into Seattle for an Alaska cruise but we were a day ahead of the schedule departure so we used the free day to explore.
